Plot Synopsis:

When Batman and Robin receive information concerning Commodore Schmidlapp’s safety they rush to his rescue using the Batcopter, only to be attacked by an exploding shark… was it a trap?

… who or what gave them the vital information?

Returning to Commissioner Gordon’s office, Batman and his trusted side-kick Robin use their powers of deduction to surmise that the United Underworld (Joker, Penguin, Riddler and Catwoman) are behind it all…

United in a hatred for the dynamic duo; the four most powerful villains in Gotham City hatch a plan to take over the world and rid Gotham of Batman and Robin forever…

Can Batman and the Boy Wonder save the world from certain doom or will the United Underworld succeed together where they have failed apart? …


Leslie H. Martinson also directed a pair of Batman episodes; “The Penguin Goes Straight” and “Not Yet, He Ain’t”, both from season one.

Julie Newmar (Catwoman in the television series) didn’t reprise the role due to other acting work, she was replaced by Lee Meriwether.

The sequence where Batman desperately tries to dispose of a live bomb, were filmed at waterfront locations in Santa Barbara, California.
